The NSGConnect mentor program promotes a professional and social platform connecting members across all career stages, positions, and specialties in networking, career development and exploring new roles to enrich the profession.

Start using NSGConnect today by following these three simple steps: 

1. Enroll As a Mentor or Mentee 

Are you looking to be a mentor or mentee? Perhaps both? Sign up using the forms below. 

Check all relevant boxes on your profile - the most information your provide, the more opportunities you have for connections. Please note that some fields are required for enrollment. Keep in mind: in order to request a mentor, you must be enrolled as a mentee and in order to request a mentee, you must be enrolled as a mentor. You may be enrolled as both a mentor and a mentee. 

2. Search for Mentors

Use the Mentor Directory to find available mentors. The search engine uses AND logic, meaning only profiles matching all selected criteria will appear. For best results, limit your initial search to 1 - 2 checkboxes. Experiment with different searches to explore various mentor options, limiting your criteria to just a few for each search. 

3. Connect with Mentors

Next, click on the member's name that you're interested in establishing a mentor connection with. The link will bring you to their profile page. Read more about them. If you think they are a good fit, look under their profile image for a green "Request as a Mentor," which will allow you to request your desired connection. 

With NSGConnect, you get to decide the length of your relationship with a mentor or mentee. If you need to speak with someone once over a cup of coffee, or once a month over the phone for a year, NSGConnect allows you to drive the pace of your relationship.
