I am a licensed board-certified genetic counselor at the Mayo Clinic. My primary responsibility is to create educational content for Mayo Clinic GeneGuide, a genetic education and testing product.
Prior to joining the Mayo Clinic, I worked at CooperGenomics, providing counseling for carrier and non-invasive prenatal screening, at The Delaware Center for Maternal Fetal Medicine performing preconception and prenatal counseling and at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia coordinating genetic research in cardiac patients.
I received a dual B.S. in biology and psychology from The University of Pittsburgh and an M.S. in genetic counseling from Arcadia University.
In my free time I enjoy reading, gardening, anything that involves a hot glue gun, and teaching my children the value of sarcasm.
