Listening is a key skill used in daily practice for genetic counselors. Do you engage in the same degree of listening in your personal relationships as you do with your patients/clients? Are you actively engaged in listening with family members and friends? How have you and how can you employ listening skills to enact change in your professional relationships, personal relationships, and in yourself?
